Important Species,Degree of Harm and Potential Risk of Daqu Pests
In order to understand the Daqu pests and their hazards in the storage management of Daqu during the production of Baijiu,we collected Daqu pests from nine distilleries in Renhuai and Pingba of Guizhou Province. The species of the Daqu pests were identified according to their morpho-logical characteristics, indoor simulated rearing was conducted to record their degree of harm, and the potential risk of the main pests was evaluated.A total of 10593 insects were collected, belonging to 23 species of 12 families,1 order and 1 class. The dominant species in Pingba area were Cryp-tolestes pusillus and Araecerus fasciculatus, the dominance index of which was 0.46 and 0.41,respectively;the dominant species in Renhuai area was Carpophilus hemipterus, the dominance index of which was 0.52.The community diversity survey of the nine distilleries showed that the Shannon-Weiener index of Zuimei Distillery was the smallest(0.499),and the that of Zhongxin Distillery was the largest(2.106).From January to March, the harm done by Daqu pests was slight. From April to June, the harm done by Araecerus fasciculatus was serious. From July to December, the harm done by Araecerus fasciculatus was very serious, and the harm done by Rhyzopertha dominica and Cryptolestes pusillus was serious.Araecerus fasciculatus was taken as the object of the potential risk evaluation, and the results showed that its comprehensive risk evaluation value R was 1.6,which was a me-dium risk level.
