In the process of utilizing social media for ideological and political education,universities face numerous dilemmas,including the challenge to teachers'leading role by social media,the impact of social media on students'values,and the difficulty for students in adapting to real-life situations due to the anonymity of personal identities in social media.To optimize ideological and political education for students in higher education,universities should inspire teachers with the spirit of educators,strengthen teachers'data analysis abilities,construct an integrated online and offline educational platform,and enhance the fun and interactivity of education.Additionally,universities should reinforce school regulations and discipline,implement reward and punishment mechanisms to constrain inappropriate online comments,and proactively urge platforms to strengthen content supervision and develop personalized learning paths.
