Moving Vehicle Load Identification Based on Bayesian Inference and Bridge Displacement Responses
Considering that vehicle load information is of great significance to bridge design, operation and maintenance.A method of identifying dynamic load based on bridge displacement responses is proposed. The relationship between bridge dynamic displacement response and the dynamic vehicle load is constructed, and the moving load is inverted through Bayesian inference method.A vehicle-bridge coupling model is adopted to verify the method, and the influences of the number of sensors and environmental noise on the identification accuracy are discussed. The results indicate that the dynamic load can be identified when there are at least two displacement sensors on bridge.Besides, the number and location of the sensors show no effect on the identification accuracy. However, the accuracy of dynamic loads can be affected by environmental noise, and the accuracy can be improved by increasing the number of sensors.
