The Strategy for Restructuring Distribution Networks Considering Electric Vehicle Loads
With the popularization of electric vehicles, their charging loads have an increasingly significant impact on urban distribution networks. In order to mitigate the instantaneous high power and high load effects caused by the clustering charging behavior of electric vehicles,a distribution network reconstruction method considering electric vehicle loads based on the Monte Carlo algorithm is adopted.By establishing a city traffic network model, based on the theory of car travel chains, the Monte Carlo method is used to establish a spatiotemporal load prediction model for electric vehicles, and typical daily electric vehicle multi-time period charging loads are calculated. The distribution network of the area is reconstructed based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm to reduce the active power loss of the distribution network and improve power quality.Simulation verification is conducted using the IEEE-33 node distribution network as an example, and the simulation results show that the method can alleviate the impact of electric vehicle charging behavior on urban distribution networks. Moreover, the active power loss of urban distribution networks is reduced by more than 40%after the application of this method, demonstrating a good optimization effect.
