Village Rules and Regulations,Trust of Village Cadres and Farmers' Renewable Energy Use Behavior:Take Straw Resource Utilization As An Example
The utilization of agricultural renewable resources is an important initiative to achieve sustainable agricultural development. This paper takes straw resource utilization as an example, based on the survey data of farmers in Hunan Province, using Logit model, analyzes the influence of village rules and regulations, village cadres′ trust on farmers′ renewable resource utilization behavior. It is found that both normative and guiding village rules and regulations have a significant positive impact on farmers′straw resource utilization behavior, and the latter has a greater effect on farmers′straw resource utilization behavior than the former.Trust in the character and organizational trust of village cadres significantly and positively influenced farmers′ straw resource utilization behavior, while trust in the competence of village cadres had no significant effect on farmers′ straw resource utilization behavior.Village rules and regulations and trust in village cadres have some interactive effects on farmers′ straw resource utilization behavior, and trust in village cadres plays a significant positive adjusting role in village rules and regulations and farmers′ straw resource utilization behavior, which mainly comes from the influence of organizational trust.Accordingly, village rules and regulations should be further improved, the construction of village cadres should be strengthened,a sound village environmental protection supervision organization and supervision mechanism should be established, and environmental education and policy promotion should be increased,so as to effectively improve the utilization rate of agricultural straw and other renewable resources.
