The Path of Green Agriculture in China from the Perspective of Ecological Modernization:A Case Study of Production and Living Practices in"Beidahuang"
Ecological modernization is a pattern of social development to address ecological crisis developed in Western European countries.As one of the most important economies in the world,China's practice of ecological modernization is of great significance for enriching the Ecological Modernization Theory.This article takes the practice of agricultural development with Chinese characteristics as an example to summarize the basic experience of sustainable agricultural development.These includes easy-to-operate and scalable agricultural technological innovations,green oriented market regulation mechanisms and organizational management systems,and a prevention concept that runs through the entire process.Based on these experiences,the author finds that the practice of ecological modernization in the case study goes beyond the dualism of economy and environment,and the opposition between"green and non-green"to a certain extent.This finding is a supplement to the connotation of Chinese Path to Modernization in the field of agricultural development.Additionally,this case has important practical significance for improving the level of regional agricultural modernization and sustainable development.
