Construction of Evaluation Index System of Life Quality of Rural Left-behind Elderly and Its Policy Implications
Using 1 016 micro survey data from the three provinces of eastern,central,and western China,a structural equation model was used to construct an evaluation index system for the quality of life of rural left behind elderly people,including 7 dimensions and 29 indicators.The test results show that the constructed quality of life evaluation index system has good reliability and validity.Material life,health status,and social participation are the most critical areas of quality of life for rural left behind elderly people.Propose to pro-mote the revitalization of rural industries and common prosperity,improve the health support system for the elderly,and promote social participation of left behind elderly people in rural areas.
