Study on Service Supply Strateies of Social Work Embedded in Elderly Care Institutions:A Case Analysis Based on A Government Procurement Service
The aggravation of aging population and gradual weakening of traditional family-care for the elderly in China provides an opportunity for social work to embed professional services in elderly care institution.However,the embedding is faced with three difficulties:low level of standardization,imperfect existing serv-ice system and structural resistance.Taking a government purchase service as a case study,this study effec-tively responds to the above challenges by adopting the embedding strategy of structure embedding to obtain lo-cal legitimacy,cognition embedding to enhance professional legitimacy and culture embedding to build trust relationship to promote professional services.While meeting the diverse needs of elderly people in elderly care institutions and their development demands,social work organizations have also improved their professional serv-ice capabilities.
