China's New Employment Forms:Employment Quality,Job Satisfaction and Policy Implications
In recent years,new employment patterns have flourished and become the focus of society.Using the data of the 2020 Chinese Family Panel Studies,multiple regression is used to analyze the impact of em-ployment quality on job satisfaction of workers in new employment patterns.It is found that workers in new employment patterns have a relatively young age structure,good self-assessed health,but low human capital,low employment quality,and moderate job satisfaction.The impact of employment quality on job satisfaction of workers in new employment patterns is significant and stable,as shown by the positive impact of high income,appropriate working hours and less weekend overtime on their job satisfaction,and the"satisfaction paradox"doesn't exist.Therefore,it's necessary to improve the protection system for new employment patterns,promote the supply for employment service from multiple subjects,establish a full-coverage data platform for new em-ployment patterns,at the same time,anchor precise policies and pay attention to specific groups of workers in new employment patterns,so to further improve the quality of employment and promote the high-quality devel-opment of new employment patterns.
