There are 39 Ci poems of Xin Qiji are about the private courtyard if his friends,and no other poet has created such a scale of related themes before him.Some of the gardens and pavilions described in these poems were seen by Jia Xuan himself,while others were not.So there are two different types of texts.These two kinds of texts not only have differences in the choice of prominent objects and landscape narration,but also have similar writing strategies of title interpre-tation and following others'plans.As an outsider of the space,Jia Xuan wrote his space experi-ence and put forward relevant criticism and suggestions.As an alien,Jia Xuan has a strong subjec-tive will and becomes a participant and demonstrator of space.Jia Xuan even armchair-toured the gardens of his friends,created Ci with his rich knowledge and became the builder and recorder of the space.Jia Xuan's private garden narration embodies some special features of similar themes in Song Dynasty literature,which deserves attention.
