DAs a historical novel,Xuanhe Yish is deeply influenced by the concept of histori-ography and compilation of historical records.The paper intends to adopt some methods and per-spectives of historical records research.The historical sources of this novel are mainly Chen Jun's Chronicle of the Imperial Dynasty,the Chronicle of the Two Courts of Revival,Lv Zhong's Lecture Notes on the Annals of the Imperial Dynasty,the Lecture Notes on the Annals of Revival of the Impe-rial Dynasty,and other miscellaneous historical novels such as Bin Tui Lu and Nan Jin Ji Wen.The compiler did not understand the compilation style of the historical source documents,and sim-ply using direct recording and excerpt in the process of transcribing,which led to many omissions and errors in the texts.The author believes that the catalogue title of Xuanhe Yish originates from the catalogue compiled by the concise chronicle history book,which is the product of the environ-ment and atmosphere of Fujian commercial book market in Yuan Dynasty.The historical views in the book mainly come from some of the short historical ABC books,which reflect the influence of Fujian regional historiography and culture in the Southern Song Dynasty to a certain extent.
