The Value Tendency and Emotional Connection of Self-Reflexivity Practice of Digital Nomads'Identity
As a youth subcultural community, digital nomads transcend the traditional research field of entertainment and leisure, expanding their influence into the realm of work and harnessing the potential energy of digital technology and social context. The generational motivation, emotional interaction, and social connection of digital nomads are linked to their identity reflexivity, which in-volves a process of self-reflection,self-denial and self-confrontation.Their identity reflexivity is ini-tially demonstrated by rejecting the alienated work system and the singular, stable, and clearly de-fined individual identity demanded by the meritocracy.Instead, they opt for an uncertain, diverse, and then in choosing the uncertain, diverse and fluid ambiguous identity.Second, mobile digital nomads exemplify the contradiction of identity cognition, which not only strongly pursue individual autonomy, but also highly long for emotional communication and community belonging, resulting in a self-centered,emotionally connected,neo-tribal culture in which emotional community plays a sig-nificant role in identity reflexivity.Meanwhile,local,cross-regional and global multi-scenario inte-gration provides digital nomads with a supportive social network for their diverse mobile identity i-magination,encompassing"stable-mobile","urban-rural",and"local-global"lifestyles.The re-flexive practice of digital nomad identity is a cultural phenomenon that serves as a metaphor for the emergence of new dynamics in the complex social and structural relationships between traditional work and life, individual and collective, urban and rural, and local and global contexts.
