How to Understand Transcendental Constitution:Structure and Limits
Transcendental constitution is based on the manifold structure of pure consciousness, which is specifically manifested in the following four stages:the self-constitution of the bottom-level time manifold, the multi-dimensional structure of noesis/noema constituted by the time manifold, essential and types specific regions constituted by the intentional relevance of noesis/noema,and the most superficial phenomena of actual acts.In this manifold structure, transcendental subjectivity shows the characteristics of worldliness and intersubjectivity, and the transcendental ego has different types of expressions in different constitutive dimensions and regions due to the constitution of the time manifold. The time manifold is of fundamental significance to transcendental constitution. It not only depicts the boundaries of transcendental phenomenology, but also determines that early Heidegger, early Merleau-Ponty and phenomenological theology are still fundamentally transcendental from the perspective of the development of the phenomenological movement.
