Population Opportunities for Productive Aging and Relative Policy Implications
Productive aging means well utilizing human resources of the elderly,so they can continuously make contributions to economic employment,social participation,and support family and community development.Productive aging provide good counter measurement for facing the challenge of fast population aging.The study illustrates China also facing sufficient and increasing population opportunity considering her large scale of old population and increasing healthy life ex-pectancy,and discusses related policy implications to well fulfill strategy of productive aging,those include retirement institution reforms of postpone legitimate retirement age and relative matched re-forms,human capital investment on the elderly's education,health and capacity,and reducing bar-riers to labor migration and support the migration and mobility of the elderly.
