The ideological and theoretical characteristics of the content of"Significant Theme Education"decided the essence of integrating"Significant Theme Education"into the curriculum of primary and secondary schools lies in the enhancement of the ideological nature of the curriculum,the realization educational function of teaching practice,and the realization the socialization of learn-ing.The orientation of the integration of the"Significant Theme Education"into the Primary and Secondary School Curriculum embodied as the value dimension of the purpose of integration,the in-tegrality of the content of integration and the practicality of the method of integration.In order to pro-mote the integration of"Significant Theme Education"into the curriculum of primary and secondary schools,it is necessary to use the complementing,transforming and integrating strategies,and to ex-pand the relevant themes to curriculum content by finding the internal connections as the starting point,transform the relevant theme content in the curriculum into argumentative social issues,and integrate the relevant theme education content into the social context of curriculum knowledge.
