The Labor in Future and the Poetry of Existence:A Contemporary Critique of Marx and Heidegger's Concept of"Labor"
By sublating alienated labor,Marx advanced the concept of free labor, thereby dis-tinguishing wage laborers from the future Communist.Heidegger's various forms of production and labor, grounded in merit, underscore labor as the essence of existence in everyday life, establishing a connection between labor, existence, and their authentic freedom and poetic expression. The labor philosophies of both thinkers point toward a form of future free labor. However,on one hand,Heide-gger's labor philosophy requires supplementation from Marx's philosophy in several areas,particu-larly in explicating its practical dimensions more directly and consistently. On the other hand,con-cerning the continuous development of individuality and sensibility within Marx's labor philosophy, modern and postmodern philosophers offer additional perspectives. These insights serve as valuable references for reinterpreting the theory of free labor, while also prompting reflection on the limitations and shortcomings of these theories.
