To explore the relationship between open personality and intelligence among college students,as well as the mediating role of self-reflection and personal growth,a survey was conducted on 1313 college students using the Open Personality Scale,Self-Reflection Scale,Personal Growth Scale,and Intelligence Development Scale.The results indicate that:(1)there is a significant positive correlation between open personality,self-reflection,per-sonal growth,and wisdom;(2)Open personality can significantly and positively predict the intelligence of college students;(3)Open personality not only influences intelligence through the individual mediation of self-reflection and personal growth,but also through the chain mediation of self-reflection and personal growth.The research re-sults reveal the relationship and mechanism between open personality and intelligence,providing empirical evidence for the development of smart education and intervention for college students.
