Failed Elements Correction Method Based on Modified Invasive Weed Optimization Algorithm
The array antenna comprises multiple radiating elements.Element failures distort the far-field radiation pattern, affecting antenna system operation. Thus, optimization algorithms are crucial for mitigating distortion and restoring characteristics. This paper introduces the Adaptive Invasive Weed Optimization(AIWO)algorithm for ra-dar antenna element failure correction. The adaptive standard deviation decreases with iterations, balancing global exploration and local exploitation.Chaotic sequences enhance the local anti-stalling ability of optimal weeds,im-proving optimization accuracy. Our algorithm incorporates common excitation constraints in the pattern synthesis ob-jective function, enhancing system stability and reducing maintenance costs.Compared to existing algorithms,un-der demanding array configurations, our method increases the common excitation proportion from 0 to 17.4%,with radiation characteristics meeting requirements, proving its outstanding element failure correction performance.
