Digital finance,relying on digital technology,has broken through the temporal and spatial limitations of employment,giving rise to many non-standard new forms of employment and having a profound impact on the job market.Based on data from the China Household Finance Survey(CHFS),this study empirically tests the impact of digital finance development on household employment.Research has shown that the development of digital finance has a significant promoting effect on household employment,and industrial structure and entrepreneurship are important factors in the development of digital finance affecting employment.Heterogeneity analysis found that the development of digital finance has promoted employment in areas with lower levels of economic development and groups excluded by traditional finance,and the financial literacy of residents plays a positive regulatory role in the process of promoting employment through the development of digital finance.Therefore,we need to leverage the advantages of digital finance,support the development of platform economy,promote industrial structure upgrading and entrepreneurship to promote employment.
