The representation, psychological roots, and correction of Internet populist discourse expression
Currently, online populism has gradually evolved into a social trend that disrupts the public opinion ecosystem and even subtly influences people's ideological concepts and real life. The expression of populist discourse on the Internet is more manifested as an explicit and normal discourse resistance of the lower class in society, expressing dissatisfaction, seeking their own interests and discourse right. The expression of populist discourse on the Internet has its underlying narrative generation logic, mainly reflected in moral alienation characterized by pan moralization and moral kidnapping, emotional alienation under emotional rendering and radical expression, and interpersonal communication alienation represented by stigmatization and labeling. In terms of the social psychology it generates, the expression of online populist discourse often aligns with the psychology of grassroots internet users.Dealing with and correcting the expression of populist discourse on the internet requires three aspects, namely, discourse balance-the coordinated development of monism and pluralism, discourse regulation-the dual guarantee of demand response and institutional constraints, and discourse reshaping-the reconstruction of social identity through rational cognition.
