Uncovering and shielding:Reflection on"punchline"phenomenon in hot events
The"punchline"which is widely spread with hot events in the Internet has two functions:uncovering and shielding.On the one hand,the"punchline"deconstructs people's perceptual cognition of hot events,from the concrete existence of"people living in the punchline"to the interest structure of"people pursuing the punchline",and finally forms the perceptual ideology of"people outputting the punchline",which fully demonstrates the public's perceptual cognition and value identification of hot events.On the other hand,the"punchline"which over seizes the public's vision pushes people into conformity co-existence and Bakhtin's Carnival,obscures the rational thinking of the public on hot issues,and causes the public opinion chaos of lack of reason and blindly following.To overcome the shielding problem of"punchline"in hot events,we need to play the role of"technical regulation"of"punchline"to shape people's correct cognition of hot events,which also provides a new working perspective for handling public opinion of hot events in the new media era.
