Research progress and trends of the relationship between government subsidies and enterprise innovation in the context of China
In order to gain a deeper understanding of the intrinsic relationship between government subsidies and corporate innovation in the Chinese context,research literature on government subsidies and enterprise innovation was searched in the CNKI and WOS core databases from January 2000 to December 2022.CiteSpace software was used to visually analyze 436 Chinese and 147 foreign literature retrieved.The results show that since 2000,the number of research literature on the relationship between government subsidies and enterprise innovation at home and abroad has been on the rise.The mechanism of financing constraints,property rights,political affiliation,enterprise size,rent-seeking,and venture capital in the relationship between the two has been a research hot spot in recent years.There is a lack of research on the impact path of sample selection on conclusions,the interaction mechanism of multiple influencing factors,and the incomplete matching of research models with China's national conditions are the main shortcomings in current research.The mechanism of the relationship between rent-seeking and venture capital may be a future research hot spot.Based on the shortcomings of historical research,in-depth analysis of the intrinsic influence mechanism of research samples on research conclusions,emphasis on the interactive effects of different influence mechanisms,and improvement of research models according to China's special national conditions will be the main innovative directions for future research in this field.
