In the digital age,image research has become a new hotspot in educational research,and the shift of knowledge production of visual literacy has become an inevitable trend.However,in the field of education,the value of knowledge production of visual literacy has not yet received widespread attention.Based on the feasibility of knowledge production shift on a theoretical perspective,this paper analyzes the connotation of knowledge production shift in visual literacy research from three dimensions:"what it is,""what it conveys,"and"how it occurs."It is proposed to awaken knowledge production intention through cross visual needs,solidify knowledge production capacity through cross disciplinary learning,broaden knowledge production horizons through cross-cultural understanding,and improve knowledge production quality through cross method mutual verification,in order to promote the knowledge production shift in visual literacy research and fully leverage the unique value of image research.
