Since the first proposal and development in 2017,"home-based care beds"have become a vital layout of China's pension service during the 14th Five-Year Plan stage,attracting strong social attention."Home-based care beds"is an innovative pension service model that provides integrated home-based care for older adults through combining medical care,nursing care,and various resource integration for older adults who live at home.It has advantages in alleviating the pressure of family care,improving the standardization of family care,and reducing the economic burden of home-based care for older adults.However,problems such as insufficient standardization construction,insufficient integration of healthcare and nursing resources,pending optimization of related product and platform,and incomplete subsidy channels remained.This article briefly summarizes and proposes countermeasures based on academic research and practical situations in various regions:strengthening theoretical research efforts and constructing a policy support system for home-based care beds while accelerating its standardization construction,promoting the orderly integration of medical and pension care resources.This study also recommends increasing publicity efforts and strengthening the intelligent technology transformation and the construction of information platforms.Lastly,it is essential to further the construction of the correlation between home-based care beds and long-term care insurance to promote its steady progress from an operational level,facilitating the high-quality development of China's healthcare industry.
