The Yangtze River Delta region is one of the most innovative,inclusive,and severe aging regions in China.In order to actively address and tackle the objective fact of severe aging in the region,it is imperative to address the needs of care using innovative care models(smart home care).There is relatively few research on regional collaboration in smart home care among domestic scholars at present.The current coordinated development of smart homecare in the Yangtze River Delta region is characterized by problems,such as prominent contradictions in supply and demand structure,insufficient standardized development,poor cross-regional cooperation,and incomplete construction of integrated platforms.It is urgent to expand and strengthen the smart home care industry chain,establish cross-regional coordination and cooperation mechanisms,support rural community smart home care,strengthen the construction of professional talent teams,and adapt and learn from foreign experience,with the aim of promoting the high-quality,coordinated development of smart home care in the Yangtze River Delta region.
