Accurately grasping the trend of the new technological revolution and improving the efficiency of innova-tion driven growth is important for China to accelerate the formation of new quality productive forces and solidly pro-mote high-quality development.Facing the new technological revolution,China has some advantages,including building a new development pattern,constructing an innovative country to a new level,and upgrading the digital economy into a national strategy.Simultaneously,it also faces some external challenges such as significant global uncertainty,the build-ing of politicized and"de-Sinicization"digital security systems and trade regulations by Western countries,as well as in-ternal challenges such as lagging regulatory methods and legal systems,as well as unclear industrial development paths derived from new technologies.Therefore,the government needs to strengthen supervision and planning design,highly recognizing the security risks and challenges.As such,it should also:1)strengthen overall planning and coordination;2)fully leverage the dual roles of an effective market and a promising government;3)improve the innovation ecosystem and build an open and collaborative new technology innovation system;4)promote high-quality"bring to China"and"China going global";and 5)build a mutually beneficial and win-win international cooperation system.
