Measurement and Analysis of Active Frequency Support Strategy for Wind Storage Joint System
In response to the issue of insufficient frequency stability in the power system after a high proportion of new energy connected to the power grid, based on a semi direct drive wind turbine and electrochemical energy storage joint system, three control strategies for participating in grid frequency regulation are proposed:wind turbine priority, energy storage priority, and wind storage joint.Taking a combined power station of a 600 MW wind power unit with a 115 MW/345 MWh wind storage system as a test object, the dynamic characteristics of three control strategies participating in frequency regulation are analyzed, and a verification test for the ability of wind storage combined system to support grid frequency is carried out.The results indicate that the proposed strategies not only enhances the frequency regulation capability of the wind storage joint system, but also achieves a reasonable allocation of wind storage frequency regulation power. It also proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the primary frequency regulation and inertia response of the wind storage joint system for system frequency support, and has guidance and reference significance for the engineering application of large-scale wind power participation system inertia support and primary frequency regulation.
