Research on Development Structure of Inner Mongolia Power Grid Under High Proportion of New Energy Access
In order to achieve safe and stable transmission of new energy electricity,Inner Mongolia Power Grid will build multiple grid-to-grid DC channels to deliver clean energy electricity to other provincial and regional power grids in the future. However,Inner Mongolia Power Grid still faces transient and dynamic stability problems under some DC faults, which needs to be optimized from the planning level for the main grid structure of the Inner Mongolia Power Grid.Based on the analysis of the current network adaptability, this paper compares various technical routes, including asynchronous networking project, internal reinforcement project and external ultra-high voltage extension project, and analyzes the frequency stability, dynamic stability, and short-circuit current issues that may occur in different projects. Finally, this paper innovatively proposes that Inner Mongolia Power Grid and North China Power Grid should adopt asynchronous network or ultra-high voltage AC interconnection network to meet the needs of DC channel access.
