Aggregation Modeling of Direct Drive PMSG Wind Farms Suitable for Sub-Synchronous Oscillation Analysis
Aiming at the subsynchronous oscillation(SSO)problem of direct drive permanent magnetic synchronous generator(PMSG)connected to the grid,K-Means clustering method is used to cluster WTGs according to the dynamic output characteristics, and then the equivalent model of the direct drive wind farm is constructed after collection network transformation and WTG parameters aggregation.Based on the time domain simulation model in EMTDC/PSCAD and the linearization model in MATLAB/Simulink,the effectiveness of the aggregation model in the SSO scenario is verified, which provides a model basis for the analysis of SSO characteristics. Finally, based on the eigenvalue analysis method, the SSO characteristics of the direct drive PMSG based wind farm connected to the weak grid are analyzed, and the influence of wind turbine generation(WTG)operating conditions,WTG number, current inner loop control parameters and grid strength on the SSO characteristics is analyzed, and the d-axis current inner loop control parameters are determined to be the dominant factors in the SSO of the direct-driven PMSG based wind farms.
