The Four-dimensional Explorations of the Theory of the New Form of Human Civilization from the Perspective of Marxism
In the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping took the new form of human civilization as one of the essential requirements of the Chinese path to modernization.Under the theo-retical view of Marxism,the new form of human civilization created by the Communist Party of China has rich theoretical implica-tions.Its ecological dimension lies in the formulations of"reconciliation"and"harmonious coexistence";its theoretical orienta-tion lies in the changes of the ideas from"material-oriented"to"people-centered";its practical direction is reflected by the change of perspectives from history to reality and future;and its international dimension is highlighted from China to the world.The theory of the new form of human civilization is the innovative historical contribution made by the CPC to the development of human civilization for the Chinese path to modernization.It is an important theoretical and practical theme to examine the conno-tation of the new form of human civilization by using Marxist principles and methodologies to adapt Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of our times.
