Modernization with harmonious coexistence between man and nature,with the essential feature of Chinese mod-ernization,fundamentally distinguishing from the path of modern civilization led by Western capitalist logic,is rooted in the wealth theory,value theory,production theory and institutional theory of Marxist political economy.It adheres to the ecological view that"lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets",the perspective of green development as a mode of production and living,and the ecological values of shared governance and universal benefit.Achieving modernization with harmonious coex-istence between humanity and nature is not only an ecological choice for Chinese modernization,but also a new extension of the modernization of Marxist political economy in China.
