Chinese films have always had a tradition of portraying heroes,and the innovative evolution of heroic images on the screen bears witness to the core essence of film art in"drumming up support and advocacy"for the times.Through exploring multiple paths such as the humanization of revolutionary heroes,the three-dimensional transformation of superheroes,the diversi-fication of industry heroes,the popularization of civilian heroes,and the intelligence of future heroes,the new mainstream films not only reflect the contemporary expression of the"people's hero view"in film concepts,but also reflect the incremental expan-sion and remarkable new breakthroughs of Chinese films in the hero lineage.They also temper the new era's people's pursuit of goodness and beauty,patriotism,and cultural confidence,and build a cultural value orientation and aesthetic pursuit of universal harmony,playing an important role in the social aesthetic education of the new mainstream films.
