"Promoting Chinese path to modernization requires maintaining historical patience"is an important judgment made by the Party in the process of promoting modernization.Its connotation is mainly reflected in four aspects,namely,the Par-ty needs to have the"confidence"that Chinese path to modernization is bound to win,the"determination"to firmly promote the cause of Chinese path to modernization despite thousands of setbacks,the"courage"to face the dilemma of Chinese path to mod-ernization,and the"pure heart"to firmly focus on serving people.The reason why promoting Chinese path to modernization requirs maintaining historical patience is determined by the logic of reality,history,law and practice behind it,which can be de-tailed in four aspects:first,upholding and strengthening the Party's overall leadership to provide a political guarantee;second,adhering to the guide of people's logic to provide a logical guarantee;third,adhering to the"grand historical view"to provide a correct world view;fourth,learning and applying the thinking methods of Marxism to provide scientific thinking methods.
