The Mutual Construction Logic of Urban-rural Relations in China from the Perspective of Marxist Urban-rural Integration
The urban-rural relations constitute major proposition in Chinese modernization process.Based on the cogni-tion logic of modernization,the gap between urban and rural areas will experience a process of widening and gradually disappea-ring,which is also the general law of the development of urban-rural relations revealed by Marxist thoughts on urban-rural inte-gration.The new Marxist spatial theory puts forward a critical analysis of space production,further extending the Marxist ideas of urban-rural integration.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the relationship between urban and rural areas has gradually shifted from fragmentation to integration,opening a new era of urban-rural development.In the new era,some new fea-tures have emerged within China's urban-rural relations,highlighted by the people-oriented urbanization and urban-rural inte-gration development,which provides a field for the dual mutual construction of Marxist urban-rural integration thoughts and new Marxist spatial theory.At present,in order to promote high-quality development of urban-rural integration,efforts must be made to break the urban-rural-dual-structure,to comprehensively promote rural revitalization,to build spatial justice,to consolidate ecological security,and to realize the people's aspirations for a better life.
