Recent Research Trends and Hot Issues of Sociolinguistics in China——Visualized Analysis Based on CiteSpace
This article uses CiteSpace software to visually analyze 493 sociolinguistic research papers published in CSSCI linguistics journals from 2018 to 2023,exploring the research trends and hot issues of domestic sociolinguistics in recent years.The analysis results show that the current research hotspots in sociolinguistic focus on various aspects such as language policy and planning,language ability,language attitude,language exposure,language life,language landscape,and Chinese language in-heritance;from the perspective of research trends,there is a broad research prospect in areas such as language policy and lan-guage governance,language exposure and variation,and language inheritance and protection.
