The Concept of Numbers and Cultural Symbols in the Singing of Urad Folk Songs——Taking the Field Investigation of Baiyanhua in Urad Front Banner as an Example
In the traditional folk song singing customs of the Urad region,there is a unique form of expression,which uses the number"3"or"9"as the main structure of the group song for singing.This custom is deeply rooted in the Urad people's meticulous observation of the changes in the natural world and their profound concept of numbers.The famous modern historian and musicologist Meiri Genggen had a profound influence on such customs in his created ceremonial songs and banquet rules,which led to the general practice of singing three songs in groups among people in various ritual activities in areas such as Baiyanhua in Urad Front Banner.The following text is based on field investigation data and provides an in-depth analysis of the theme content of ritual songs sung by the Urad people in various ceremonial occasions.Through a deep interpretation of the specific titles,thematic connotations,and inherent relationships between the lyrics of three etiquette songs in a group,we strive to reveal the rich cultural connotations behind them.At the same time,from the perspective of insiders in the Cultural Bureau,further elaborate on how digital concepts deeply penetrate into traditional customs and traditions,the inheritance and development of folk song singing art,and even the integration and interaction of different cultures,demonstrating their unique and undeniable influence.
