The the Nanling Mountain National Corridor is the largest gathering area of Yao in China.This paper takes the traditional dance"Chong Chu Dance"of the Yao people passing through the mountain,which is popular in Houdong Village,Tashi Yao and Shui Nationality Township,Rongjiang County,the southern part of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture,Guizhou Province,as the research object and case.After the early field survey,the paper uses case analysis and comparative analysis to conduct in-depth analysis.From a micro perspective,From a macro perspective,this paper analyzes the dance elements of the Yao ethnic group's"pounding and pestle dance"in the southeastern Guizhou region.From the perspective of the connection between the"pounding and pestle dance"of the Guoshan Yao in Qiandong Village,Tashi Yao Water Ethnic Township,and the traditional dance of the Guoshan Yao in other regions,it explores the ethnic body language expression awareness highlighted in the traditional dance culture of the Yao ethnic group,and explores the cultural connotation and value of the"pounding and pestle dance"of the Guoshan Yao.
