A Beneficial Attempt for the Inheritance and Development of Mongolian Dance in China——Review of the National Art Fund's"Cultivation of Talents for Choreography and Creation of Dance Repertoire in Inner Mongolia"Project
In 2022,Inner Mongolia Arts College set up and carried out the National Arts Fund project"Inner Mongolia Dance Repertoire Choreography Talent Training",which provided a 56-day systematic training for 45 choreographers from colleges,universities,and troupes from more than ten provinces and regions across the country.The program invited the domestic academic top professors,the industry's top choreographers,joint lectures.Through the study of dance theory,traditional materials,choreography practice,fieldwork and research,the program teaches the students traditional Mongolian dance and modern choreography techniques and other dance expertise based on the current situation of Mongolian dance creation.The program researched the inheritance and development of Mongolian dance in the new era environment,explored the future development direction of Chinese folk dance,and was a useful exploration of the inheritance and development of traditional ethnic culture.
