The Effect of Strip Configuration on Biological Yield and Inter-root Soil Nutrients in Silage Corn-soybean Composite Plantations
In order to investigate the effects of silage corn-soybean spacing and row ratio configuration on the yield and soil nutrients of corn-soybean strip-cropping,we used corn Tie 391K and soybean Dongdou 9 as experi-mental materials, and adopted a two-factor split-area experimental design, with three levels of corn-soybean spac-ing of 50 cm,60 cm,and 70 cm,and two levels of row-ratio configuration of 2∶4 and 4∶4,to analyze the effects of different corn-soybean spacing and row-ratio configurations on the biological.Yield and soil nutrient content of the corn-soybean composite. The results showed that the 60 cm corn-soybean spacing and 4∶4 row ratio configuration were conducive to the optimization of root distribution in the corn-soybean composite planting, which was conducive to the improvement of soil nutrients in the inter-root zone of corn and soybeans, and resulted in the highest biological yield of corn and the highest biological yield of the corn-soybean composite. In conclusion, silage corn-soybean complex planting in the Xiliaohe Plain of Tongliao City,Inner Mongolia,60 cm corn-soybean spacing and 4∶4 row ratio configuration were relatively suitable complex planting methods.
