Microphysical Characteristics Analysis of a Precipitation Process in the Daihai Basin
The microphysical characteristics of pallio-nimbuses were analyzed based on the aircraft precipitation enhancement detection data of the Daihai Basin on May 10,2018.The results showed that this precipitation process was affected by the 500 hPa high-level trough and the 700 hPa Hetao cyclone, representing a typical stratiform precipitation process in spring. The number concentrations of precipitation particles and cloud particles in the middle and lower parts of stratiform clouds were low,and the horizontal distribution of cloud microphysical quantities exhibited significant inhomogeneity.62.6%of the liquid water content was greater than 0.002 g·m-3,and 83.2%of the supercooled water content was greater than 0.01g·m-3,with the supercooled water mainly located within the range of 0.01 to 0.05 g·m-3.
