A Review on Effects of Biological Soil Crusts on Soil Water Cycle
The ecological role of biological soil crust is obviously important in arid areas. Effects of biological soil crust on soil water cycle become one of the research hotspot in recent years. Meanwhile,the research results are sometime different in similar studies. In this paper,the effects of biological soil crust on different water source and the process of the water utilization were summarized by reviewing lots of research literatures and some research prospects in this field were proposed.
