E-commerce,Foreign Trade and Common Prosperity in Ethnic Areas
With the advancement of information technology,e-commerce has gradually become an important supplement to China's trade and economic development and plays a significant role in boosting common prosperity. To investigate whether the two-way driving development between e-commerce and foreign trade can promote the common prosperity in the western region of China, this paper first probes into the mechanism between them from the two dimensions of driving force and pulling force and then selects two indicators of e-commerce trade volume and total import and export trade volume to make an empirical analysis using the PVAR model and SWOT-AHP model. The results show that the average growth of foreign trade exceeds 10%when the development of e-commerce in ethnic areas is increased by one unit. However, the growth of foreign trade cannot achieve the development of e-commerce in a short time, namely that there is a one-way causality between them. For the sake of their two-way driving development, the strategic plan of"maximizing development(SO)"put forward from four aspects of policy support, industrial agglomeration, infrastructure, and location advantage is the key factor to accelerate the construction of a high-quality economic system and promote common prosperity in ethnic areas in the future.
