Objective To study the therapeutic effect of Salidroside(SDS)on acute lung injury(ALI)caused by Lip-opolysaccharide.Methods Thirty C57 mice were randomly divided into three groups(n=10):saline control group(NS),LPS group, and LPS+SDS group.Animal models were established by using tail in-travenous LPS,administered at a dose of 5 mg/kg.After successful modeling, the LPS+SDS group was inject-ed Salidroside at a dose of 40 mg/kg.Equal dose of saline were injected in the NS and LPS groups. The status of experimental animals was observed, and after 24h,blood was collected, and serum and lung tissue samples were collected.Lung wet/dry(W/D)weight ratio values were examined, lung histopathological changes were observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining,lung tissue fibrosis was assessed by Masson staining, and the values of LAC,CK,LDH,HBDH,AST,UA,UREA,ALT in the mouse serum were detected using a fully automated biochemical instrument. Results Morphological observation showed that edema,hemorrhage,mas-sive inflammatory cell infiltration, significant thickening of alveolus interval, narrowing of alveolus cavity and structural disappearance could be observed in the lung tissues of LPS group.Lung injury was significantly re-duced in the SDS+LPS group, the lung tissue structure tended to be normal, and the alveolus and bronchial in-flammatory cells and exudates were significantly reduced compared with the LPS group. The results of biochem-ical indicators showed that the LDH,HBDH,AST,UA,UREA,ALT in the LPS+SDS group was better than these in the LPS group, among the six indicators, the UA values were lower than that in the model group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Salidrosidehas therapeutic effect on acute lung injury caused by LPS and can serve as a candidate for clinical treatment of acute lung injury.
