Effects of High-frequency Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets on Patients with Post-Stroke Depression
Objective To investigate the effect of high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimu-lation(rTMS)combined with flupentixol melitracen tablets on patients with post-stroke depression. Methods A total of 47 patients with poststroke depression admitted to the Department of Neurology of Weihai Central Hospital from January 2022 to October 2022 were selected and randomly divided into study group and control group, with 23 cases in the control group and 24 cases in the study group. The control group was given flupen-tixol melitracen tablet orally, one tablet at morning and one tablet at noon every day,for 4 weeks. On this ba-sis,the study group added high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation plus treatment.Depres-sion status was assessed by the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)before treatment and 4 weeks after treat-ment,neurological recovery status was assessed by the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),and sleep status was assessed by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale(PSQI).Results After 4 weeks of treat-ment,HAMD,NIHSS and PSQI scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion High-frequency repetitive transcra-nial magnetic stimulation combined with flupentixol melitracen tablets can effectively relieve depression symp-toms,promote neurological rehabilitation, and improve sleep quality and quality of life in patients with post-stroke depression.
