Objective To investigate the predictive value of combined chemerin levels in serum and follicu-lar fluid for pregnancy outcomes in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods A total of 106 infertile patients with PCOS who underwent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)in our hospital form July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the study groups(PCOS Group). In the same period,A total of 88 patients with non-PCOS were selected as the control group.chemerin levels in serum and follicular fluid were compared between the two groups. The PCOS group was further divided into a good pregnancy outcome group and a poor pregnancy outcome group based on pregnancy outcomes.ROC curve analysis was performed to evalu-ate the predictive value of chemerin levels in serum and follicular fluid for PCOS.Results(1)chemerin levels in serum and follicular fluid in the PCOS group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),(2)In the poor pregnancy outcome group, chemerin levels in serum and follicular fluid were higher than in the good preg-nancy outcome group(P<0.05),(3)ROC curve showed that the area under the curve of chemerin levels in serum and follicular fluid was 0.868 and 0.828,the AUC of combined chemerin levels in serum and follicular flu-id was 0.905.Conclusion The levels of chemerin in serum and follicular fluid of PCOS patients were increased,In the group with poor pregnancy outcomes, chemerin levels in serum and follicular fluid are higher,This sug-gests that chemerin levels are closely related to the occurrence and development of PCOS and can serve as evalua-tion indicators for predicting pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients.
