Objective To explore the effects of olofadine combined with cetirizine on serum immunoglobu-lin E levels in patients with chronic urticaria. Methods According to the method of random number table,122 patients with chronic urticaria admitted to our hospital from August 2020 to August 2022 were divided into con-trol group and observation group,61 cases in each group. The control group was treated with cetirizine tablets, and the observation group was treated with olofadine tablets on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated with continuous medication for 4 weeks according to the doctor's advice. The clinical efficacy, symptom score, serum IgE index and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the scores of pruritus, diameter of red halo, number of wind clusters and time of wind clusters were lower in the observation group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the serum IgE level in the observation group was lower after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with cetirizine in the treatment of single drug, chronic urticaria patients treated with olofadine can obtain better clinical effect, which is beneficial to reduce the level of immunoglobulin E,improve the clinical symptoms of patients, and no obvious adverse reactions, worthy of clinical application.
