Objective To analyze the distribution and drug resistance of multi drug resistant bacteria iso-lated from a hospital,so as to provide basis for clinical medical staff to prevent and control infectious diseases. Methods Microbial samples from January 2019 to December 2023 were selected for clinical testing, and the dis-tribution and resistance of clinically isolated multi drug-resistant bacteria were analyzed.WHONET 5.6 soft-ware and SPSS 22.0 software were used to analyze the in vitro drug sensitivity test data of bacteria according to the updated standards of the American Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute(CLSI)in 2020.Results A-mong the 3918 clinical samples submitted for examination from January 2019 to December 2023,A totel of 780 strains of multi-drug resistant bacteria were isolated,of which 519 strains were gram-negative bacteria(66.54%)and 212 Gram-positive bacteria(27.18%)and 49 fungi(6.28%)with the largest number of respiratory tract and urine samples. The top 5 common multidrug-resistant bacteria are Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneu-moniae,Acinetobacter baumannii,Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Conclusion The resis-tance rate of multidrug-resistant bacteria isolated in our hospital was higher than the regional or even national level. It is necessary to increase the level of attention from the hospital level, establish a suitable safety manage-ment system, cooperate with multiple departments and carry out refined management, and comprehensively im-prove the hospital's infection control management level.
