Objective To investigate the correlation analysis of colorectal cancer with abnormal lipid metabolism and factors such as TyG and TG/HDL-C,and to provide reference indexes for colorectal cancer screening and prevention.Method This study is a retrospective study from patients hospitalized in our hospital between January and December 2022 and collected data from medical records.A total of 589 patients had data were collected, including patient history, physical examination and laboratory tests. Is divided into cancer group and non-cancer group, the gender, obesity, smoking, alcohol consumption, hypertension, diabetes, age,BMI,triglyceride, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, creatinine, uric acid, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate amino transferase, total protein,TyG,TG/HDL-C,regression analysis using univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis of the risk factors of colorectal cancer. Results There were significant differences in obesity, smoking, alcohol, hypertension and diabetes(P<0.05).There were significant differences in age,BMI,triglycerides, total cholesterol, fasting blood glucose,TyG and TG/HDL-C(P<0.05).ROC curves for TyG,TG/HDL-C and TyG+TG/HDL-C on the presence or absence of cancer,TyG,TG/HDL-C and TyG+TG/HDL-C predicted cancer(P<0.05).Conclu-sion Obesity and metabolic indicators TyG and TG/HDL-C were associated with colorectal cancer, which is somewhat predictive for colorectal cancer.
