Objective To investigate the changes of intestinal microbiota composition and prognosis of UA patients after conventional treatment combined with probiotics. Methods A total of 60 patients diagnosed with UA in Bayannur City Hospital from August 2021 to October 2022 were selected, and 30 patients with UA were randomly selected and compared with 30 patients without coronary artery plaque in the same period.Sixty UA patients were randomly divided into control group(BFD group,30 cases)and observation group(RC group,30 cases). In RC group, conventional drugs were combined with probiotics(bifidobacterium triple live enteric-coated capsule).Blood and fecal samples were collected from each group to analyze the structural characteristics of intestinal microorganisms and TMAO value, and the number of cardiovascular adverse events in the two groups were followed up.Results The relative abundance of intestinal microbiota in RC group was significantly higher than that in the other three groups, and the ratio of firmicutes to Bacteroides in RC group was decreased compared with BFD group. The TMAO level of UA patients was decreased after the combination of probiotics. The incidence of adverse cardiovascular events at 1 year in RC group was lower than that in BFD group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of probiotics positively regulates the richness and diversity of intestinal mi-croorganisms in UA patients, reduces the blood TMAO level, and significantly improves the prognosis.
