Objective To analyze the complication of sarcopenia in elderly hypertensive patients and related risk factors. Methods A total of 152 patients ≥60 years old diagnosed with hypertension attending the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Hospital from 2022 May October were analyzed for relevant factors, and all enrolled patients were divided into oligohydramnios and non-oligohydramnios groups according to the diag-nostic criteria of oligohydramnios for the study. Results The overall prevalence of myasthenia gravis in hyper-tensive patients ≥60 years of age in this study was 41.45%(63/152),with a prevalence of 47.69%(31/65)in males and 36.78%(32/87)in females. There was no statistically significant difference between the 2 groups in terms of gender,ethnicity,Cr,GLU,GHO,HDL-C,TG,AST,and ALT(P>0.05);the differences in the 2 groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05);when comparing the age,BMI,IGF-1,25(OH)D3,IL-6,BUN,and CK of the hypertensive patients in the 2 groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of multifactorial logistic regression analysis showed that BMI,IGF-1,IL-6,and CK were independent risk factors for the complication of sarcopenia in hypertensive patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of complicated sarcopenia was higher in elderly hypertensive patients, and low BMI,low IGF-1,high IL-6 and low CK levels were independent risk factors for complicated sarcopenia in hypertensive patients.
